Inland Water Ecology Laboratory
The Inland Water Ecology Laboratory is part of the Department of Ecology and Zoology of Federal University of Santa Catarina and perform research on water quality, diversity of aquatic organisms and metabolic processes in lotic and lentic environments.
Projects developed in this lab aims to understand the various aspects of the Ecology of aquatic environments, in both population, communities, and ecosystem scale, emphasizing conservation. The aim is to understand the natural processes to predict how human actions may impact structure and functioning of these ecosystems.
